Okay you blood sucking pirates does anyone here knows how to make a Bandana?

Bandanas are just square peices of cloth.
1. Lay the bandana on a flat surface, face down. 2. Take two opposing corners and fold each one inwards until the bandana is about 5 inches wide (13 cm). 3. Lean over the bandana, pick it up and place the widest part over your forehead. 4. Tie the remaining corners at the middle of the back of your head. |

Make sure the 'point' is under the tie down or it will stick up.
IN otherwords square to triangle then tie... OR.. If you want to go Mexicano... They are squares. Sewn from corners to centre (not right to the middle but more to an imaginary circle in the centre which sits on the top of your head) making a 'cap'. Long strip of fabric sewn to front edge inorder to tie it to the head... It's tough to describe but so simple to show... Hmm... Fancy a trip to Mexico? The square to triangle is the easiest. No sewing. Have fun!!! |
