Come along and sing some sea shanties!

Everyone will be sitting in a rough circle, and after introductions, we all go round-robin style. Each person getting a chance to either lead a song, request a song, or pass.

Hear some new songs! Meet other shanty enthusiasts in the area!

If you want to lead a song, please make sure that it is chorus heavy (so everyone can join in). Instruments are welcome.

The store itself closes at 7pm, so get there a bit early if you want to purchase a beverage or munchy.

More info can be found on the message board (click here).

Come celebrate the 4th of July pirate style.
Many many many vendors of food and trinkets. Live music, an air show, tall ships sailing around, beer gardens, carnival rides, contests, sooooo much stuff. All ended with a truly impressive fireworks display.
Come joing the festivities IN GARB.
Be prepared to stash your weapons. Sometimes the authorities are ok with them, sometimes they're not (please peace-tie your blades - curious children and stupid teens are everywhere).

Bring a chair/blanket for sitting, a blanket for wraping up (this is on the banks of Commencement Bay, it gets a bit chilly at night), and snack foods (unless you want to purchase from the vendors).

Trafic and parking kinda suck at this event, I am bringing the van and have room for 5 more people. If you want to ride, email me and we will make arrangements on where to meet.

Hope to see you at the waterfront!!

Happy fourth all!

*******the camping sign up is now closed to new RSVP's Please make sure you have the updated info******

Rusty Scuper's Pirate Daze is a three day long event in Westport, WA.
There will be food vendors, stuff vendors, contests, music, and many other interesting things happening.

This particular listing is only for those who will be camping at American Sunset RV Park for the weekend and want to be included in the reservations I am making for the space we need. If you are day tripping, please do not RSVP on this event listing.

Camping has moved to American Sunset RV Park in Westport. The state park reservation computer for Twin Harbor is down (and has been for about a month). This is the backup plan :)

It is more expensive BUT, it is only 10 blocks from the event instead of 2 miles from town.

Again, only RSVP if you are planning to camp and want to be included in the reservation.
I will post the best possible pricing for the best possible spot as soon as the info is available. It should be somewhere around $5 per person (guessing).

Cost: $22.00

We miss everyone! Let's get together for a potluck!!

Thank you, Dae'izha, for volunteering to host this. We're gathering at her place "sometime afternoon", so I put 1pm in as the start time. However, since there isn't any shiply business going on, don't fret if you're running a bit late.

Also, don't fret if you can't make it to this meeting, we're planning on getting together roughly once a month just to hang out (be it a potluck, a picnic, a bbq, a restaurant... whatever, just a non-piratey get together to enjoy each other's company), except in months containing a big event.

Post what you're bringing in the comments for this event. If you bring chips, also bring dip. If you bring beverages, also bring cups. Please check to see what other people are bringing so we don't end up with all the same thing.

Thrift stores are like a treasure trove of inexpensive garb! Of course, you have to know what you're looking for... and have luck on your side as well. ;)

Join us as we loot and pillage for whatever plunder we may find!!

Seriously, there's some really good finds in them bins! And, they charge by the pound!

If you don't know what to look for, this is your chance to do some shopping with pirates who do. Ask any of us and we'll let you know if that skirt, or pair of pants will work as a part of your garb. :)

If you need directions, here's a map.

Duration of shopping trip will be determined by each individual's constitution. Who knows, maybe there will be lunch afterwards... ? We'll see after we're all there!
